Early childhood years is a period of rapid physical and mental growth. Children here in play-school learn most effectively through a based programme. The safe and nurturing environment encourages the children to explore to imagine to create and incorrect. KPS Udaan programmer is designed to encourage each child creativity and interest within a structured framework.

For classes I to V Three Terms are conducted. We believe that learning is his/her adventure in spirit. Life is to be directly experienced, enjoyed and loved; concepts are to be discovered, assimilated and internalized; thus leading to a positive attitude towards life. The experimental model of teaching is adopted by the teachers to make learning enjoyable and influential. In order to develop confidence in our KP-ites, various measures are adopted: such as role plays, extempore, competitions, group discussion, quizzes, educational trips, special assemblies to name a few.
Grades are awarded to students based on work experience, skill, dexterity, innovation, steadiness, teamwork, public speaking etc. to evaluate and present an overall measure of the student’s ability. The pattern of examination is both Formative and Summative Assessment.

The school programme promotes an integrated approach with a wide range of subjects, to nurture communication and high order thinking skills, promote responsible and caring citizenship through a study of the environment and community services. Students are encouraged to learn through creative thinking and the development of effective study skills. Co-curricular activities help to enhance the general know-how and confidence among the students.
For classes VI and above Summative and Formative Assessments are conducted as per CBSE Norms. Summative Assessment is Paper Pen Test based on curriculum taught during the specified time period. Formative Assessment includes all types of Tests, Formal and Informal. Assessment is done through: Class-work/ Quizzes/ Home-work/ Worksheets/ Oral Test/ Assignment/ Group discussions/ Group activity/ Experiments/ Projects/ Conversation/ Interview etc.
